Review by Ms. Sayali Sawant

What was your initial reaction when you heard the Title of the Book?

Initially looking at the title I thought its more about corporate life and events associated with it like office politics, HR activities , celebration/fun events, difficult situation or any hurdles that one face in their career.

Did you find it meaningful, why or why not?

This book is very meaningful because the main character gets into many difficult situations but he is never angry or disappointed rather he has a very positive attitude towards each and every scenario.

What did you think of the writing style and content structure of the book?

The writing style and content is very detailed yet simple. The language is very easy to understand. The content is also very well structured.

Which location in the book would you most like to visit and why?

I would love to visit USA. I would also love to visit all the pizza, pan cakes places as well as Temple mentioned in the book.

How did the book make you feel? What emotions did it evoke?

The book starts on a very emotional note but how the main character handles the situation is commendable. While reading this book I felt emotional, in some situations I felt very happy, there are some scenarios that are hilarious. This book gave me a very mixed feeling overall. I feel very motivated looking at the journey of Hridaan.

Which character did you most relate to and why?

I relate to Hridaan, who is the main character. I also faced similar situations in my life, also how Hridaan is career oriented and plans his career irrespective of challenges and he achieves his goals.

Did the characters seem believable to you? Did they remind you of anyone you know?

Absolutely yes!!!! All the characters are so believable. I could relate to so many situations like losing your ID card to a rule where the cooks clean the kitchen.

Did the author do a good job of organizing the plot and moving it along?

Author did a great job of organizing the plot because once you start reading the book somehow you just cannot stop. You just want to know what is happening in Hridaan’s life. The characters are very well developed and are detailed enough that you feel they are real.

Would you recommend the book to your friend/colleague/family members with similar bookish interests?

Absolutely yes!! I have already recommended this book to my friends and family.

If you got the chance to ask the author of this book one question, what would it be?

I want to ask the author “When will I get to know about the new adventures awaiting for Hridaan”

What do you think of the book’s cover? How well does it convey what the book is about?

I think the book cover does absolute justice to the book. Every little symbol picture maps have a significant impact on Hrihaan’s life. Book cover is very well designed.
Eg: An umbrella in the cover depicts a situation in Mumbai when Hridaan and few of his colleagues are stuck in office due to heavy rains.

What was your favorite part of the book?

My favourite was the rainy season one. As a Mumbaikar, no matter how much I complain about the water logging, I absolutely enjoy this fun time with friends/family.

Were you satisfied with the story ending? If you weren’t, how would you resolve things differently?

I am very much satisfied with the ending. I hope i get to read the next part very soon.
